First a Food Truck now a Mail truck, What’s next for Williamsburg??? Satmar Hasidim have not yet recovered from the biggest setback since calling Williamsburg home in late 1940’s.
http://http//www.villagevoice.com/blogs/food/archives/2007/10/the_hasidim_get.php What some call "The Fress Truck" similar to those seen on the streets of Manhattan, the food on wheels is seen as a huge blow to the traditional way Williamsburg has been buying prepared food. "It’s not only a sinful way of buying food" said Rabbi Yitzchuk Glick director of the world renowned Rabbinical authority Hisachdus, "its also against every value we have been thought by our late Rabbi. It's not even controversial, it's all out right condemned by every Williamsburg resident. There are no Hasidim supporting the venture and it Shall be removed by eminent domain. Its meant to serve only the artist community and the best proof that the Food Truck ownership has no intention of selling to the Hasidic Community is that they didn’t even inquire a Kosher supervision from our Hisachdus authority. They are using some Artist appealing supervision, an authority we have never seen before. Their name is even hard for me to pronounce, something like "Tartycover" which is a more “Goyish” name”, says Rabbi Glick. As the authority, in conjunction with The Satmar Butcher store (which sells a full line of takeout food) is (for obvious reasons) spending thousands of dollars to lobby and advertise against this horrible venture, in hopes of reaching the same victorious outcome as the “Run the artist out of Williamsburg” campaign yielded. The community is hit with yet another disaster to deal with. And this one is for real. It’s a another truck It's an innocent looking truck on approximately 4 wheels. It has a hood that opens to the sidewalk, like the one seen on the so called Fress truck and sells it male'. The venture is called the USPS male truck and even more disturbing its located in the center of the Hasidic neighborhood right in front 82 Lee Av some days the clerks in the trucks are immodestly dressed women selling "male".

Unlike the Fress truck, which no Hasidic Jews have been seen purchasing food until now, the USPS Mail truck has been seen having long lines of both Hasidic women and men and on occasion, even kids. "This is extremely troubling to our neighborhood and preserved culture", said Rabbi Hershel Klar. "We need to fight this threat Jihad style tooth and nail. We are not going to stand by and see our community degrading like stinken overnight Kugel, or farkakteh schnitzel left over from Shabbos, (Sabbath). We are taking this threat more than serious" A meeting which included leaders of both sects of Satmar, the Aron and Zalman Divisions, drew a proposal detailing the strategy of an all out right ousting campaign, which shall be unveiled at the upcoming generals meeting in a public forum, a source told the Hipster blog that a few thousand dozens of eggs have been ordered which will be used as a very significant weapon against the infidels.
